Nasty C Opens Up About How Hip Hop Impacted His Ability To ‘Speak Out’

Nasty C Opens Up About How Hip Hop Impacted His Ability To ‘Speak Out’. Rapper Nasty C counts as one of the few rappers who began showing interest in music at a much younger age. His passion nred the Ivyson man we have now who is crossing borders and winning at all times.

People get into rapping for all different types of reasons, it’s not always about showing off talent but to fulfill a certain personal need. For the 23 year old Nsikayesizwe Ngcobo, it was about how rapping allowed him the freedom to face fears and speak out.

Counting T.I as the reason he reached for a pen, Nasty C expressed speaking to Spotify how without Hip hop he can’t imagine how things would’ve panned out. “Without hip-hop, I don’t know how I would’ve made it to where I am right here. It’s given me a voice. It’s given me confidence to speak on certain things, to speak for a generation,” he says. “It’s a big step—it’s like me coming of age.”

Nasty was only 15 when he dropped his first mixtape, 2013’s One Kid a Thousand Coffins

The multi-award winning rapper is currently on final stages with his album Zulu Man With Some Power. The project includes T.I . and No I.D. (who produced JAY-Z’s album 4:44).
